HLAF is manned by young, idealistic and qualified Staff.  Despite the volume and intensity of HLAF's work, its four regular employees and countless volunteers both lawyers and students has made remarkable accomplishments in promoting and protecting the rights of the detention prisoners.  Through the efficiency and effectiveness of its staff and volunteers, HLAF has been known to be a LEAN BUT MEAN organization.
